S.S.M. Residency – 'Subhashraya' – was started on 30th April 2006, with 16 Residents and 18 staff
members. Today there are 331 Residents and 376 employees. The Residency is occupied to its full
capacity.
The Residency in a vast area of 15 acres of land has all the World Class facilities with state-of-the-art
comforts. With all humility we wish to submit that our Residency has been recognized worldwide as a
peaceful place for honourable living of senior citizens.
We are blessed to have the most co-operative Residents in the age group of 60 to 100. But for their continued
patronization and blessings, we would not have been what we are today. We earnestly salute all the
Residents for their co-operation. We are thankful to their kith and kin to have reposed enormous confidence
on us. The assuring comfort, honour and peaceful living for the Residents is our goal.
We are fortunate to have a dedicated team of employees. The unstinting support of our staff, enables us to
offer the best service to our Residents round-the-clock.
We solicit the cooperation of all in our endeavour to serve the elders with love and affection. We are sure
that late Smt. Sundaravalli, our beloved mother will shower her blessings
to continue our service to humanity.
The current optimum strength was reached in the year 2012 itself and since then we are unable to handle
the pouring enquiries. Many a times, we are unable to reach out to the enquiries as we have always been
running at full capacity. The continued persistent enquiries for a good old age home has forced our
Management to expand the Residency by creating new 504 units.
We are conscious that the increase in number of Residents should not be at the cost of comfort and peace for
all. We are sure that this expansion will really serve the senior citizens who are really longing for a peaceful
abode to have their twilight years spent in total comfort.
The Management, Staff and Residents, seek the blessings of Sri. Thiruvengadamudayan, Sri. Gayathridevi
and Sri. Vaidyanathaswamy the Presiding Deities of our temples, to bless us all with a life of absolute
contentment.
